Furry Fans of The Hotel Telluride

Hi, my name is Sam and my dad works at The Hotel Telluride.  Being a Telluride dog is just great, I spend most of my days hiking, lying in the sun, and bounding through snow banks.  One of my favorite things to do is get dressed up and go to the hotel with my dad to meet other people and dogs.   

After mastering checkers, I’m learning to put up a good game of chess.  Dad can still beat me at two games out of three, but I’m getting better! 

Just ask for me during your stay, maybe we can have at a game ourselves?

This past Christmas our parents decided to go on a ski vacation in Telluride over the Holidays....usually this is an event that fills us with anticipation of extra dog treats from front desk staff, lots of tummy rubs from other guests (personal fav) and long winter naps in the room while the parents exhaust themselves on the mountain. Much to our surprise we found out we were not tagging along this year ,but instead would have the pleasure of undivided attention from Grandma for the week...not a bad trade off if we do say so ourselves. (As much as we love The Hotel Telluride, Grandma's rubs are pretty amazing!) After what seemed like an eternity....we have really bad sense of time if you hadn't heard....the parents finally arrived back home and of course bearing gifts for their favorite children (don’t tell the human child)….two fashionable dog sweaters that they picked up at The Hotel Telluride just for us! Typically we are not a "souvenir t-shirt" wearing kind of crowd, but these sweaters are not your typical bought-while-on-vacation wear these are 100% Chic Alpaca sweaters and the colors are stylish. We absolutely LOVE them...and wear them as we take our walk each morning in the cold Chicago weather. So even though we didn’t get to visit this time, thank you Hotel Telluride for having such great sweaters on hand for the parents to bring back to us! Hopefully we will get to see you next time.
