Memorable Summer.....Bring on Winter!

As we wrap up another amazing Summer in Telluride and bid a bittersweet farewell to Festival filled weekends, I find myself getting a little nostalgic. Yes, I know...I usually keep these posts pretty light and humorous, but I'm finding it almost mind boggling how many wonderful people in this Town come together to ensure nearly every weekend is filled with activities and a heart warming sense of community.
For all our loyal blog followers who had the honor of visiting at least ONE of the Telluride Festivals this summer, I pose this questions.... isn't THAT what
vacations are for? The experience? Effortlessly making memories with the ones you love? As a "Hotel" our main focus is usually guest relations and making sure everything exceeds the guests expectations....but what if it's about the memories, the connection that is built between a wonderful event and a Town? Each of us here at The Hotel Telluride hope that this past Summer brought every guest an opportunity to make a memory that will never be forgotten or possibly... the beginning of a new tradition for your
family, no matter how big or small it might be. We sincerely enjoyed having you as our guest, and if you are someone who has not had the chance to visit us, we hope we see  you soon. It's never to late to start a new family tradition or pick up a new outdoor hobby, even if it's just the quintessential art of sitting on Main Street and letting the moment sink in.

We also would like to exstend a huge "Thank You!" to each of the wonderful, talented Festival staff members that volunteer weeks of their lives each Summer to make sure that each one is a success, from the season
opener of the Telluride Mountain Film Festival in May ...to the Telluride Blues and Brews Festival in September, that always gives us a sense Ski Season is around the corner....and with that I leave you with this teaser video of Telluride. Enjoy!
