" A fine hotel without pretension!"
Blew into this charming town last night and Hotel Telluride exceeded expectations. A fine hotel without pretension. Having grown up in Colorado, I appreciate the outdoorsy theme of the hotel (antler light fixtures, exposed beams) balance with a sense of high aesthetics (beautiful linens, soaring lobby, polished wood).
“All Around Wonderful”
Not a negative thing to say…Staff was wonderful. Had a 3-night stay the week before ski season opened. The staff was on top of anything we needed. Even had the ski-rental company come directly to the hotel to measure us for ski's and boots.
“Great location in a great town”
Perfectly located with transportation available at any time to all skiing facilities. Rooms are comfortable and staff is helpful. Limited on-site meals, but easy walk into town and many great choices.
“Should be #1 place to stay in Telluride.”
I come to Telluride at least twice a year and always stay at Hotel Telluride. I don't even bother checking other hotels in the area. Rooms are comfy, clean and spacious, food in the Nook is tasty, lobby is very cozy with a fireplace and even a guitar!!!
