Telluride Bride Surprise!
The Hotel Telluride is getting excited about Wedding season! Our first Bride & Groom that will be staying with us are Hilary Anderson and Rick Schafer.
They will be getting married on top of the world at San Sophia Overlook! Then they will head down the mountain to Tomboy Tavern for thier reception.
Hilary was so kind to share a few photos and thier most exciting and romantic engagement story! Sure to bring tears to your eye!
"We were set to watch Rick's niece, Kate (2), and nephew, Jack (5), for the evening. Having a hard time imagining Rick watching more than one child at one time, let alone feeding them, I wrapped up my billable hours in a hurry and headed over to his place to greet two very excited, but hungry children. After a stop at the infamous Wazee Supper Club, we took the kids to see sharks...the Aquarium. The game plan? Man on man defense. Naturally, however, Rick was on his cell phone the entire time, texting. Naturally...I was slightly irritated. Little did I know the texting was with my father. He was in on it. The man can keep a secret.
Nine times out of ten when Rick sees his nieces and nephews, he gets them a surprise. September 21 was no different. So after the Aquarium, we pulled up a park bench for "Surprise Time". Jack was to give me my surprise, which was a small tin of jelly beans. Of course, I immediately started eating them and feeding them to the 2-year old...much to Rick's dismay.
This is us. This is real. "
